Sort by Price, high to low

Leg guards do a lot of the saving, so they're one of the pieces worth spending a bit more on. We stock goalkeeping leg guards from OBO and Mercian, from the lighter OBO OGO and OBO Yahoo for junior and club keepers up to the OBO Cloud and OBO Robo PLUS for senior keepers. Pair them with matching kickers, or save with a leg guard and kicker bundle.

Which leg guards should I choose?

  • OBO OGO: lighter and softer, for junior club and school keepers.
  • OBO Yahoo: for club keepers and improving players aged around 12 to 16, with high-density outer layers for control and wear resistance.
  • OBO Cloud: senior and club level, with a softer, more accessible feel than the Robo range.
  • OBO Robo PLUS: OBO's widest and lightest Robo leg guard, for senior, national and performance-level keepers.
  • Mercian: from the Genesis 3 junior set, with dual-layer leg guards, kickers and gloves, up to the Mercian Elite.

How should leg guards fit?

Leg guards should cover from just above your knee down to your foot, and stay put when you move rather than twisting round your leg. Use the OBO or Mercian size guide, and avoid buying a size up for a junior to grow into, as oversized pads slow a keeper down.

Leg guard and kicker bundles

If you need both, a leg guard and kicker bundle is the simplest way to get a matching pair.
