How do I stop my hockey shoes smelling?

Take them out of the kit bag as soon as you get home, let them dry naturally, and pop a Smellwell insert in each shoe overnight. Smellwell inserts are non-toxic, all natural and work for up to three months, and they're handy for gloves and bags too.

How do I clean hockey shoes?

Knock off loose sand and mud once they're dry, then use a brush and cleaner on the upper. Avoid putting your shoes on a radiator or in the washing machine, as heat can damage the glue and materials.
