Mercian Genesis, Evolution and Elite

Mercian's goalkeeping kit is split into three ranges. As a rough guide:

  • Genesis is the starting point for junior, school and developing club keepers. The Genesis 3 junior kit includes dual-layer leg guards, kickers and gloves, with thermo-reactive foam that moulds to the leg.
  • Evolution suits keepers stepping up to more regular training and matches.
  • Elite is Mercian's top level, aimed at experienced senior keepers.

Always check the individual product for sizes and level, as not every piece is made in every range.

Mixing Mercian with other brands

Plenty of keepers pick and choose. A Mercian helmet or junior set works perfectly well alongside OBO or TK kit, so go with whatever fits best. Browse all our hockey goalkeeping kit to compare.
